What to Expect:
Commit to a 3-year term
Provide on-site support at the bike shop and during special events
Attend monthly meetings
Serve on a committee
Support fundraising and communicating our mission
Help connect our work to the community
Meetings are 60–90 minutes, once a month, with most committees meeting once a month.

We have a simple questionnaire to help us get to know you and your talents, how you feel you can contribute, and why Chain Reaction Bike Hub is important to you!
Applications will be accepted through July 1, 2025.
Application responses will be made available to CRBH Board of Directors for review. Directors are elected by a majority vote.

Board of Director Responsibilities
· Serves one (1) three-year term from the elected date.
· Determines the organization's mission and set policies for its operations to ensure provisions of the organization's charter, bylaws, standing rules, and the law are being followed.
· Sets the organization's overall programs from year to year and engage in longer-range planning to establish its general course for the future. Assist in implementation of programs.
· Establishes fiscal policy and boundaries, with budgets and financial controls.
· Attend and participate in monthly BOD meetings (lasting an average of 60-90 minutes each) and applicable committee meetings. Board members are encouraged to attend major events.
· Serves on one or more committees and makes a serious commitment to participate actively in committee work. · Committee meetings, most meet 1x per month, more or less depending on the committee and time of year for 30-minutes to 1-hour.
· Volunteers for and willingly accept assignments and complete them thoroughly and on time.
· Stay informed about committee matters, prepare themselves well for meetings, and reviews and comments on minutes and reports.
· Assists the IRA with securing adequate resources for the activities of the organization.
· Develops and maintains a communication link to the community, members, and the public to promote the work of the organization.
· BOD meetings will be held at the Linn County Public Health Building or the Bike Hub.
