Volunteer Spotlight

David G.

The CRBH board members would like to thank David for his hard work and support in the last year, with 175 volunteer hours! He is a dedicated bike mechanic who ensures every bike that leaves the shop looks polished and functions reliably, so they bring the same level of pride as a new bike. His meticulous commitment to fixing bikes often leads to him test-riding them himself – even humorously small ones!

David has a talent for fixing things up and his time volunteering at the bike hub allowed him to learn about working on bikes. He believes that riding bikes builds good memories and provides opportunities for physical activity for all fitness abilities. He enjoys helping families that come into CRBH ready to start biking together, making sure they get the bike that fits their needs and educating them on how to pick that perfect bike. He likes that the CRBH brings people in from diverse backgrounds, knowledge, and perspectives.

Our community is incredibly lucky for David’s contributions. Not only is David a great friend and fun to hang out with, but he is also strong, attentive, looks pretty stellar on the Schwinn chopper, and is always carrying around a big travel mug with his latest exotic tea concoction.

We are thrilled to recognize David as our volunteer of the month for May!
