Jeff has been a volunteer with CRBH since September when he moved back to Iowa from Texas. He found CRBH when he was looking for a place to fix bikes and a community to get involved in, and soon after, he became one of our dedicated mechanics. Jeff is known to be a perfectionist when fixing bikes, ensuring each bike looks perfect for the showroom. He works to stay current with his technical skills and is always willing to share his knowledge with other mechanics with patience and kindness.

Cycling has always been a passion for Jeff. When he was in High School, he got his first 10-speed bike which gave him freedom to explore and make some of his fondest memories. His love for bicycles and outdoors has brought him to all of his closest friends and even his wife who also loves bikes!

Jeff brought some amazing experiences to the bike hub. When he lived in Texas, he worked to create healthier communities through various clubs in walking, cycling, running, and photography! He was a founding member of Plano Bicycle Association, which grew to over 1000 participating members! He also loves anything with bananas and is known to go out of his way for a treat on a bike ride, no matter the time of day!

Jeff loves working with the people at CRBH. Everyone is friendly, warm, and they care for what they're doing. He always takes the time to help visitors to the hub with advice or help with a bike emergency. He has a lot of compassion for the people we serve in the community. He appreciates that the bike hub makes bicycles accessible, taking the price barrier away for people who want to join this incredibly caring community. It's a great way to be social, create lifelong memories, and stay active for all ages and abilities.
